Q.  Is my NWAC membership tax-deductible? 

A.  Yes. The Northwest Avalanche Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization and your contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Our federal ID# is 91-1971688.

Q.  When will my membership be due for renewal?

A.  Your membership will be due for renewal twelve months after you make a membership gift. NWAC will send you a renewal notice one month in advance of your expiration date. You may also renew your membership at any time that is convenient to you and NWAC will advance your membership expiration date one year. 

Q.  How can I ensure that my personal information is kept private?

A.  Your personal information will never be sold, but NWAC does occasionally (no more than three times per year) trade mailing lists with organizations of a similar intent and purpose in an effort to grow our membership base. To avoid having your name and address ever traded, simply call this request in to our office at any time at (206) 276-4729. You can also email your preference to charlotte@nwac.us.*

Q.  I've moved or my personal information has changed. How do I make sure that I will continue to receive updates from NWAC and other member benefits?

A.   Send an email to charlotte@nwac.us with your new contact information.

Q.  Does NWAC accept matching gifts?

A.  Yes. Ask your human resources director for information about the program where you work.

Q.  Does NWAC accept stock donations?

A.  Not yet but we plan to in the near future.
